Tauro Mining Ltd is currently recruiting for experienced riggers and multi-skilled operators jobs in Solwezi to join its team at the Kansanshi Mine in Northwestern Zambia. These full-time roles are critical to the safe and efficient handling of lifting, hoisting, and earthmoving operations supporting the mining activities.
Available Positions
Multi-Skilled Operators: 2 positions (operating TLB, Excavator, and Loader)
Key Responsibilities for Riggers and Multi-Skilled Operators Jobs in Solwezi
Riggers
Set up and operate rigging equipment to safely lift heavy loads.
Perform routine inspections to ensure rigging gear complies with safety standards.
Strictly follow company and mine safety protocols at all times.
Collaborate effectively with engineers, machine operators, and other team members to complete assigned tasks.
Multi-Skilled Operators
Operate assigned machinery including TLB, Excavator, and Loader for site-specific tasks.
Maintain accurate records of equipment performance and report any irregularities promptly to supervisors.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures established by the company and mine management.
Candidate Requirements
Valid Silicosis Certificate.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in rigging, preferably within mining or heavy industry sectors.
Possession of a valid rigging certification or an equivalent qualification.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in challenging environments.
Strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
