Barrick Lumwana Mining Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Resource Superintendent to join our Mineral Resources Management (MRM) team at the Kalumbila site in North West Province, Zambia. About the Role: Resource Superintendent Jobs in Kalumbila

Reporting directly to the Senior Resource Superintendent, you will lead the delivery of reliable and sustainable Mineral Resource and rolling grade control models. Your technical expertise and leadership will support the Resource Geology team through coaching, collaboration, and continuous improvement of modelling practices. This role is instrumental in ensuring that mineral resource models meet international standards and support effective mine planning and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the estimation and management of Mineral Resources across the Lumwana site, ensuring compliance with international reporting standards.
• Provide technical leadership and problem-solving support to the Resource Geology team, driving high-quality resource and grade control models.
• Oversee mine-to-mill reconciliation processes, maintaining model accuracy within a margin and updating models to reflect operational realities.
• Ensure full compliance with NI 43-101 reporting requirements and SOX controls in all Mineral Resource-related activities.
• Facilitate integration between Exploration, Resource Geology, and Mine Planning teams to maintain consistency in geological interpretation and block model handovers.
• Manage data quality processes to guarantee the integrity of Mineral Resource and grade control model updates.
• Deliver structured coaching and on-the-job training to junior geologists, fostering professional development aligned with group standards.
• Support open pit mine planning by providing fit-for-purpose block models that enable orebody value conversion.
• Identify and communicate risks and opportunities within the life-of-mine plan to support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Exploration, Mining, Survey, Mine Planning, and Processing teams to enhance operational efficiency.
• Lead the Mineral Resources reporting cycle, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly outputs with full mine-to-mill reconciliation.
• Oversee evaluation of additional deposits or satellite opportunities, including drilling strategy, economic analysis, and integration into mine plans.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor degree in Geology; a Masters degree is advantageous.
• Minimum of five years relevant experience in geology, mining, and resource estimation.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and collaborate on resource estimation workflows.
• Strong technical knowledge and comfort in senior resource estimation roles.
