MOIC-LN Consortium Limited is currently seeking qualified and experienced professionals for recovery tow truck driver jobs in Lusaka. This full-time role is based along the Lusaka–Ndola Dual Carriageway and offers an excellent opportunity for candidates with a strong background in heavy vehicle recovery and roadside assistance.

About the Recovery Tow Truck Driver Role

As a Recovery Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely recovering broken-down and accident vehicles, providing emergency roadside assistance, and ensuring the secure transport of vehicles. You will collaborate closely with the Control Centre, Road Patrol Team, and relevant authorities to maintain efficient recovery operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely recover and transport disabled vehicles from accident or breakdown scenes.
• Deliver prompt roadside assistance and emergency response services.
• Conduct thorough inspections of the recovery truck and report any mechanical or safety defects.
• Secure vehicles properly and maintain accurate recovery documentation.
• Coordinate recovery activities with the Control Centre, Road Patrol Team, and other stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Valid Zambian Driver’s Licence for heavy goods vehicles.
• At least three years of relevant experience operating heavy trucks or performing vehicle recovery.
• Comprehensive knowledge of road safety practices and defensive driving techniques.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Physical fitness and willingness to work shifts, weekends, and emergency call-outs.
• Clean driving record, strong communication skills, and ability to remain calm under pressure.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Experience with hydraulic recovery equipment or winches.
• Defensive Driving Certificate.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Prior experience in roadside assistance, towing, or emergency vehicle recovery.
