Available Part-Time Lecturer Positions

ZVEC Group of Companies is recruiting for the following part-time lecturer roles:

1. Part-Time Lecturer: Automotive Body Repair, Refinishing and Auto Electrical

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction in panel beating, body repair, spray painting, and vehicle refinishing techniques.
• Train learners on automotive electrical systems, fault diagnosis, and repairs.
• Conduct hands-on workshop sessions and evaluate learner competencies.
• Maintain workshop safety standards and accurate training records.

Requirements:

• Recognised qualifications in body repair, refinishing, and auto electrical with demonstrated competence across all three areas.
• Current TEVETA trainer accreditation relevant to the scope and level of training.
• Teaching methodology certification compliant with TEVETA standards.
• Minimum of 3 years industry experience in the relevant trades.
• Vocational teaching experience is advantageous.

2. Part-Time Lecturer: Events Management and Décor

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach event planning, budgeting, supplier coordination, and scheduling.
• Instruct learners on venue layouts, table settings, floral arrangements, and event décor.
• Guide learners in procurement processes, costing, and client consultations.
• Supervise practical event projects while enforcing safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Recognised qualification in events management, hospitality, décor, or related fields.
• Current TEVETA trainer accreditation for the relevant scope and level.
• Teaching methodology qualifications meeting TEVETA requirements.
• At least 3 years relevant industry experience.
• Vocational teaching experience is an added advantage.

3. Part-Time Lecturer: Food Production and Culinary Arts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction on food preparation, cooking techniques, menu planning, and presentation.
• Train learners on food hygiene, safety, and kitchen operations.
• Guide learners in recipe costing, stock control, and waste reduction strategies.
• Oversee practical cooking sessions and assess learner competencies.

Requirements:

• Recognised qualification in food production, culinary arts, catering, or related disciplines.
• Valid TEVETA trainer accreditation for the relevant subject and level.
• Teaching methodology certification compliant with TEVETA standards.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience.
• Food-handler health clearance is required prior to commencement of kitchen duties.
