Available Positions for Operators Jobs in Lusaka
We are currently recruiting for the following key operator roles:
1. 6 Colour Flexographic Printer Operator (1 position)
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience operating 6 Colour Flexographic Printing Machines.
- Strong knowledge of colour registration, ink mixing, and print quality control.
- Competence in mounting printing plates and setting up print jobs accurately.
- Experience printing on plastic packaging materials such as courier bags, refuse bags, and packaging films.
- Ability to troubleshoot printing defects including smudging, colour mismatch, and poor registration.
- Familiarity with solvent handling, ink viscosity control, and cleaning procedures.
- Capability to maintain consistent print quality during extended production runs.
2. Courier Bag Maker Operator (1 position)
Essential Experience and Skills:
- Proven experience manufacturing courier bags and plastic packaging products.
- Proficiency operating Folding Machines, Glue application, and Pouch Lamination Stations.
- Ability to efficiently set up and operate bag making machines.
- Knowledge of sealing temperatures, cutting alignment, and pouch finishing processes.
- Skill in inspecting finished products for quality, seal strength, and sizing accuracy.
- Experience with tamper-evident courier bags and security packaging is an advantage.
- Focus on minimizing material wastage and maintaining production efficiency.
3. Bottom Seal General Bag Maker Operator (1 position)
Key Responsibilities:
- Setup, operation, and monitoring of bottom seal bag-making machines to ensure efficient production.
- Production of bags meeting specified dimensions, sealing standards, and quality requirements.
- Routine machine adjustments to optimize performance and reduce downtime.
- Inspection of finished products for defects and quality compliance.
- Recording production output, material usage, and machine performance data.
- Performing routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Prompt reporting of machine faults, production issues, and quality concerns.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment adhering to company policies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating bottom seal bag-making machines within plastic packaging manufacturing.
- Sound understanding of plastic bag manufacturing processes and quality control.
- Ability to interpret production specifications and consistently meet targets.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime as required.
