  • Be Zambian citizens with a valid National Registration Card (NRC).
  • Must possess a Full Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
  • Possess the relevant professional qualifications from recognized training institutions.
  • Be duly registered and licensed by the relevant professional regulatory body where applicable.
  • Be unemployed in the civil service at the time of application.
  • Must be above 18 years and below 45 years old.

The Civil Service Commission and the Ministry of Health does not charge any fee at any stage of the recruitment process. This does not apply to postage fees charged by ZAMPOST. How to Apply

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Applicants should submit the following documents:

  • Application letter indicating the professional cadre being applied for and specifying the district of their choice (in case of intern medical doctors or intern pharmacists, the province of their choice).
  • Certified copies of academic and professional qualifications.
  • Certified copy of National Registration Card (NRC).
  • Valid practicing license (where applicable).
  • Professional registration certificate (where applicable) and
  • Any other relevant supporting documents (e.g. Certificate from Zambia Association for Persons with Disabilities (ZAPD)).

MODE OF APPLICATION

Applications should be submitted through the ZAMPOST from the 14th July, 2026 to the 7th August, 2026. Applicants are advised to ensure that all information submitted is accurate and complete. Submission of false information or forged documents shall lead to disqualification and may result in prosecution.
