The Council of Mulungushi University is an equal opportunity employer and is inviting qualified and sufficiently motivated individuals to apply for the following positions:

Lecturer of Mathematics and Statistics (1 position, re-advertised)

Job purpose:

To teach, conduct research, and carry out academic-related responsibilities.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills):

• Must have a Grade 12 School Certificate with at least five (5) Credits that must include English Language and Mathematics.
• Must have an earned Bachelor’s degree of Science in Mathematics and Statistics with a Merit or better from a recognised and reputable University
• Must have an earned Master’s degree of Science in Mathematics and Statistics with a taught component from a recognised and reputable University
• An earned PhD degree of Science in Mathematics and Statistics will be an added advantage
• Must have functional computer literacy skills
• Must have competence in using e-learning platforms and ICT in teaching
• Must have proof of research and publications
• Must have a diploma in Teaching Methodology from a recognized Institution

Experience needed:

Teaching experience at University level will also be an added advantage

Any other provided details (e.g., benefits, work environment, team info, or additional notes):

• Must have a valid membership with the professional body in Zambia
