The Council of Mulungushi University is an equal opportunity employer and is inviting qualified and sufficiently motivated individuals to apply for the following positions in the University:

Job purpose:

To teach, conduct research, and carry out academic-related responsibilities.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

  • A full Grade 12 School Certificate with at least five Credits that must include English Language and Mathematics
  • An earned Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Statistics with a Merit or better from a reputable and recognised University
  • An earned Master’s degree in Mathematics and Statistics from a reputable and recognized University
  • An earned PhD degree in Mathematics and Statistics will be an added advantage
  • Functional computer literacy skills

Experience needed

At least two years of teaching experience at tertiary level

Any other provided details (e.g., benefits, work environment, team info, or additional notes)

  • Proof of research and publications
  • A valid membership with a relevant professional body
