Marketing Associate

Cleanergy is expanding access to clean cooking gas across Zambia and is looking for a creative, field-focused Marketing Associate to join its growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute field marketing activations in residential areas.
• Manage and grow Cleanergy’s social media platforms.
• Design marketing materials using Canva or Adobe Suite.
• Identify strategic locations for outdoor branding and visibility.
• Support sales through lead generation and agent recruitment.
• Monitor marketing performance and provide field feedback.
• Track marketing activities and budgets.

Requirements

• 1–3 years’ experience in field marketing, brand activation, or community engagement.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience managing business social media accounts.
• Proficiency in Canva (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign is an added advantage).
• Basic Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Fluent in English and Nyanja or Bemba.
• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is an added advantage.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with LPG, cooking appliances, or solar products.
• Experience organizing community events and activations.
• Photography or videography skills.
