Manufacturing and Quality Assurance Manager

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, or technical operations.
• Proven experience managing manufacturing operations, production planning, and technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance, quality control systems, and production processes.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and process optimisation initiatives.
• Knowledge of product testing, inspection procedures, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Experience with production scheduling, capacity planning, and inventory coordination.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production planning or ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage manufacturing, assembly, testing, and production operations.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Establish and maintain quality management systems, inspection procedures, and testing standards.
• Monitor production output, efficiency, quality performance, and operational KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste.
• Manage product testing, refurbishment, grading, certification, and quality assurance activities.
• Investigate production issues, implement corrective actions, and improve manufacturing processes.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Train, mentor, and develop technical and production staff.
• Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, and operations teams to support production planning.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Prepare production, quality, and performance reports for management.

• ISO 9001 or other quality management training is beneficial.
• Experience using ERP systems and production planning software is advantageous.
