Mukuba University invites applications from suitably qualified members of the public for the following position:

Responsibilities or duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality learning and teaching materials for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The role also involves conducting research and contributing to the University's academic mission in line with its strategic objectives, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Applicants must possess the following:

• Grade 12 School Certificate (Form V) or its equivalent.
• An earned Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Safety, or Food Technology with at least a Merit from a reputable and accredited university.
• An earned Master's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or Food Safety from a reputable and accredited university.
• A PhD in Food Science, Food Technology, or Food Safety will be an added advantage.
• Computer literacy.
• Membership of a relevant professional body.

Experience needed

• At least two (2) years of teaching or research experience at tertiary level.
• Evidence of research and publications will be an added advantage.
