The Lead, Regional, Asset Management role is pivotal in providing strategic leadership to optimise maintenance practices and asset management across our regional operations. You will develop and implement frameworks and strategies that enhance asset reliability, reduce downtime, and boost operational efficiency while aligning with organisational objectives and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities in Lead Regional Asset Management Jobs in Solwezi
- Leadership: Guide cross-functional teams, lead strategic planning, manage change initiatives, and envision asset lifecycle management improvements.
- Technical Expertise: Apply advanced maintenance methodologies, utilize CMMS tools, conduct reliability engineering, and implement predictive and preventive maintenance techniques.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Drive Lean and Kaizen practices, adopt innovative technologies, and cultivate a culture of learning and innovation.
- Communication & Collaboration: Maintain strong stakeholder relationships, negotiate effectively, and deliver clear reports and presentations.
- Management: Oversee project management, budget allocation, cost optimization, and performance assessment using analytical data.

Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Asset Management, or related fields is essential. A Master’s Degree in Engineering Management, Asset Management, Business Administration (MBA), or a related discipline is advantageous.
- Work Experience: 10–15 years in maintenance or asset management roles, with hands-on experience in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and Predictive Maintenance (PdM).
- Leadership Experience: Minimum 5–7 years leading cross-functional teams and managing complex change projects with diverse stakeholders and significant budgets.
- Industry Knowledge: Extensive background in sectors such as mining, manufacturing, oil and gas, energy, utilities, or infrastructure, with an understanding of sector-specific asset management challenges.
- Process Improvement: Practical application of Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies in asset management and maintenance environments.
