Laundry Staff

Orbit Apartments, located in Mitengo, Ndola, Copperbelt, Zambia, is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals for multiple full-time hospitality jobs in Ndola. We invite hardworking and trustworthy candidates to join our team and contribute to maintaining a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment for our guests and residents.

Responsibilities:

• Wash, dry, iron, fold, and organise bed linen, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items.
• Ensure laundry is returned clean, fresh, and presentable.
• Sort laundry by colour, fabric, and cleaning requirements.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, irons, and other equipment safely.
• Inspect items for stains or damage and report to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the laundry area.
• Monitor laundry supplies and report when replenishment is needed.
• Follow hygiene, safety, and proper laundry handling procedures.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of laundry processes including washing, ironing, and folding.
• High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
• Honest, reliable, well-organised, and hardworking.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Previous laundry or hospitality experience is an advantage.
