Position Overview: Junior Buyer Jobs in Lusaka

As a Junior Buyer, you will play a vital role in supporting the procurement team by managing purchasing orders, tracking shipments, and maintaining supplier relationships. You will collaborate with the Sales and Warehouse teams to ensure stock availability and assist with weekly inventory cycle counts. This full-time position is ideal for candidates with a keen eye for detail and proficiency in relevant software tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the procurement team in daily operations
• Raise and process purchasing orders accurately
• Track shipments to ensure timely delivery of items
• Manage supplier quotations and maintain effective supplier communication
• Coordinate with Sales and Warehouse teams to prevent stock shortages
• Assist in conducting weekly cycle counts of warehouse inventory

Skills and Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, demonstrated by completion of an advanced course
• Minimum of two years’ experience using Sage accounting software
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
