About:

A leading manufacturing conglomerate spanning fertilizer production, porcelain tile manufacturing & industrial packaging seeks an HSE Manager to provide strategic leadership and oversight of all Health, Safety & Environmental functions across the Group — driving compliance and a proactive safety culture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop & implement Group-wide HSE strategies, policies & standards
• Champion a proactive safety, health & environmental culture
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety & environmental regulations
• Lead risk assessments, hazard identification & mitigation
• Monitor HSE performance via audits, inspections & KPIs
• Lead incident investigations & corrective/preventive actions
• Manage environmental compliance, waste & sustainability initiatives
• Oversee emergency preparedness, business continuity & crisis response
• Coordinate HSE audits, training programs & executive reporting

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• BSc in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science/Management, Engineering or related (MSc a plus)
• NEBOSH Diploma, IOSH, ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification (mandatory)
• 10+ years in HSE management, incl. 5+ years in senior leadership
• Proven track record managing HSE systems across multiple business units
• Strong knowledge of OHS legislation & international best practices
• Manufacturing, mining, construction, agriculture or energy experience an advantage
• Familiarity with IFC / World Bank ESS performance standards
• Excellent leadership, communication & stakeholder management skills
• Professional HSE body membership & regulatory-agency experience a plus
