Housekeepers / Room Attendants (2 Positions)

Housekeepers and Room Attendants are responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public areas to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction.

Room Cleaning:

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms thoroughly, including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and sanitizing bathrooms.

Linen Replacement:

• Replace used linen and towels with fresh, pressed items.

Amenity Replenishment:

• Replenish guest amenities (soap, shampoo, tea/coffee supplies, stationery) daily.

Public Area Cleaning:

• Maintain the cleanliness of corridors, lobbies, and other public areas.

Maintenance Reporting:

• Identify and report maintenance issues (burned-out bulbs, leaking faucets) promptly.

Lost and Found:

• Report any lost and found items to the supervisor.

Guest Requests:

• Respond promptly to guest requests for extra pillows, blankets, or other items.

Health & Safety:

• Follow cleaning protocols, use cleaning chemicals safely, and adhere to health and safety standards.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Full Grade 12 Certificate.
• Relevant academic or professional qualifications for specialised positions.
• Previous experience in the hotel or hospitality industry is an added advantage.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
• Applicants must be hardworking, honest, reliable, and self-motivated.
