Cairo Hotel is inviting applications from suitably qualified, experienced, hardworking, and self-motivated individuals to fill the following positions:

Receptionists are the first point of contact for guests, providing warm welcomes and efficient service throughout their stay.

Responsibilities or duties

• Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Process guest arrivals and departures efficiently, verifying reservations, issuing room keys, and handling payments.
• Reservation Management: Manage room bookings, answer phone calls, and respond to email inquiries.
• Guest Information: Provide guests with accurate information about hotel facilities, services, dining options, and local attractions.
• Guest Assistance: Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints professionally, coordinating with other departments as needed.
• Cash Handling: Process payments accurately using the POS system and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate guest records, updating profiles and ensuring data accuracy.
• Concierge Services: Assist guests with transportation, tour bookings, and dinner reservations.
• Shift Handover: Prepare detailed shift handover reports for seamless transitions between shifts.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• Full Grade 12 Certificate.
• Relevant academic or professional qualifications for specialised positions.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
• Applicants must be hardworking, honest, reliable, and self-motivated.

Experience needed

Previous experience in the hotel or hospitality industry is an added advantage.
