Sanctuary Gardens Rehabilitation & Wellness Centre is seeking a Head of Security to join its purpose-driven team transforming lives and restoring hope.

About the role:

The Head of Security will lead and manage all security operations at Sanctuary Gardens, ensuring a safe, secure and therapeutic environment for clients, staff and visitors 24/7.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the security team 24/7.
• Ensure the centre remains secure, escape-proof and free of contraband.
• Implement and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Prevent and respond to security incidents.
• Supervise staff training and development.
• Maintain order, safety and a therapeutic environment.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with clients, staff and other departments.
• Prepare reports and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Candidate requirements:

• High levels of integrity.
• Zero tolerance for drugs and alcohol.
• Security trained.
• Good track record.
• Good communicator.
• Alert, decisive and dependable.
• A security, military or police background would be advantageous.
