Greenwood Manor Hotel is looking for a dependable and skilled Handyman to join our team and help keep the property running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
Perform general handyman work around the hotel (repairs, minor installations, fixes).
Help with plumbing tasks such as leaks, toilet/sink repairs, and basic maintenance.
Support maintenance and simple electrical-related work (troubleshooting basic issues, replacing parts, etc.).
Assist with minor construction/renovation tasks as needed (patching, carpentry support, wall repairs, basic repairs).
Respond to maintenance requests and ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and follow hotel safety procedures and maintenance standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Background or experience with electrical engineering (or strong electrical knowledge).
Ability to handle plumbing repairs (basic to intermediate).
Some experience or comfort with basic construction work (patching, repairs, minor building tasks).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Good communication skills with staff and management.
Prior hotel or property maintenance experience.
Familiarity with common maintenance tools and systems.
Safety certifications (e.g., electrical safety training) are a plus.
