Graduate Mining Engineer

Role Overview:

You will assist in the design and execution of open pit or underground mining operations. This includes short-term planning, drill and blast, and production optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of monthly and quarterly mine plans.
• Monitor daily production performance and identify deviations from the plan.
• Design drill and blast patterns to optimize fragmentation.
• Conduct pit optimization and reserve estimations.
• Ensure compliance with mine safety and ground control regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering.
• Understanding of mine planning software (Vulcan, Deswik, or Surpac).
• Knowledge of blasting techniques and equipment selection.
• Strong leadership potential and ability to manage teams.
