JOB VACANCY: FIELD TECHNICIAN (AUTO ELECTRICIAN)

IO Technologies Limited is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field Technician (Auto Electrician) to join our growing technical team based in Kitwe

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission GPS tracking devices on various vehicle types.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain fuel monitoring systems and fuel level sensors.
• Install and configure AI dash cams and other IoT devices.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults on installed tracking and monitoring equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on installed devices.
• Perform field visits to client sites for installations, maintenance, and technical support.
• Test equipment to ensure proper functionality before handover.
• Complete installation and service reports accurately and on time.
• Provide professional technical support while maintaining excellent customer relations.
• Adhere to company safety procedures and technical standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Certificate, Diploma, or Trade Qualification in Auto Electrical, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, ICT, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience as an Auto Electrician or Field Technician will be an added advantage.
• Sound knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and electronic faults efficiently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel within Zambia when required.
