The North Western Provincial Health Office, under the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) Project through a Cooperative Agreement (CoAg) with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the positions listed below, to be employed on a ten (10) month contract, renewable subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds.

POSITION 13: FACILITY MONITORING AND EVALUATION ASSISTANT — 1 (ONE) POSITION

Job Purpose

To undertake Monitoring and Evaluation of HIV/TB Service delivery in order to facilitate decision making.

Job Responsibilities

Data Entry

Undertakes timely and accurately capture of patient data in the electronic health systems in order to facilitate storage and retrieval of information.

Data Quality Assurance

Undertakes regularly Quality Assurance (QA) in order to ensure quality data.

M&E Reports

Undertakes timely preparation and submission of HIV/TB reports in order to inform decision making and monitoring.

Capacity Building

Undertakes effectively provision of capacity building to facility staff in Data management in order to impart knowledge and skills.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

  • Full Form 5 / Grade 12 School Certificate or equivalent.
  • Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience.
  • Ability to write comprehensive reports.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Computer literate, interpersonal skills, confidentiality and analytical skills.

NOTE: Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA)-verified qualification documents will be an added advantage for all applications submitted under this announcement.
