Responsibilities or duties

• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after each trip
• Complete the daily vehicle defect book and vehicle condition reports
• Transport and deliver goods safely and on schedule
• Ensure all cargo and vehicle documentation is complete and secure
• Obtain proof of delivery and customer signatures
• Assist with loading and offloading when required
• Position the truck for efficient loading and unloading operations
• Comply with all traffic laws and company safety procedures

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• Valid Class C, C1, or CE Driver’s Licence
• Aged between 25 and 30 years
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Defensive Driving Certificate
• Eye test results
• Police clearance certificate
• Fingerprints
• Honest and reliable
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Experience needed

• Minimum 3 years’ work experience
