Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each journey to ensure roadworthiness.
• Maintain daily vehicle defect logs and condition reports accurately.
• Transport and deliver goods punctually and in a safe manner.
• Ensure all cargo and vehicle documentation is complete, accurate, and securely handled.
• Obtain proof of delivery and customer signatures upon receipt of goods.
• Assist with loading and offloading cargo when required to facilitate efficient operations.
• Position vehicles effectively to optimize loading and unloading processes.
• Comply with all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures at all times.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class C, C1, or CE Driver’s Licence.
• Age between 25 and 30 years.
• At least 3 years of professional driving experience.
• Grade 12 School Certificate.
• Proven defensive driving skills.
• Recent eye test results confirming fitness to drive.
• Police Clearance Certificate and fingerprint verification.
• Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and good moral character.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Clear and verifiable references from previous employers.
