5. DRAFTSMAN

Role Overview: Prepare and maintain detailed technical 2D/3D CAD drawings, designs, and documentation for mechanical equipment, structural works, and civil construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

i. Develop detailed schematics, orthographic drawings, and layout designs using AutoCAD. ii. Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and verify material specifications for civil/mechanical works. iii. Coordinate with engineering teams and contractors to resolve design revisions. iv. Ensure drawing compliance with company HSE, ZEMA environmental standards, the Factories Act, and the NAPSA Act. v. Technologist Diploma, Advanced Technician Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent. vi. Formal training and proven proficiency in AutoCAD 2D & 3D. vii. Minimum 2 years of relevant drafting experience. viii. Strong attention to detail and command of technical English communication.
