Position Overview: Director Strategic Planning Jobs in Lusaka

As the Director of Strategic Planning & Information Management, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of ZNPHI’s strategic plan. This includes overseeing data analysis, research, information systems, and performance monitoring to enhance public health programs. The role is full-time, permanent, and requires on-site presence in Lusaka.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the formulation, implementation, and periodic review of ZNPHI’s Strategic Plan to align with organizational goals.
• Lead the synthesis and visualization of data, producing policy briefs and scientific reports to inform decision-making.
• Manage projects, develop work plans, conduct performance reviews, and engage stakeholders effectively.
• Prepare funding proposals and concept notes to secure donor support for public health initiatives.
• Oversee monitoring and evaluation frameworks, including performance indicators and Balanced Scorecard methodologies.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Enhance ICT infrastructure, promote digital innovation, and integrate AI technologies to improve information sharing.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of a Full Grade 12 Certificate with at least five O-Level credits, including English and Mathematics.
• Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Public Health Informatics, Information Systems, or related fields.
• A PhD in relevant disciplines is considered an advantage.
• At least 10 years of senior-level experience demonstrating leadership, management, and collaboration across teams.
• Proven expertise in big data analytics, data visualization, research, grants management, and program coordination.
• Experience in public health, epidemiology, health information systems, and donor-funded projects is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
