About the Cyber Security Trainers Jobs in Kitwe

As a Cyber Security Trainer, you will deliver comprehensive training aligned with Kectil’s curriculum, focusing on cybersecurity, digital skills, and professional development tailored to the Zambian job market. You will facilitate engaging sessions, practical exercises, and group discussions, ensuring participants gain the knowledge and confidence necessary for certification and real-world cybersecurity roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver structured training sessions following the Kectil curriculum.
• Facilitate discussions, hands-on activities, and group work relevant to local industry needs.
• Track attendance and maintain accurate session records using programme tools.
• Submit weekly session reports to the Programme Coordinator.
• Identify and promptly address participant challenges or concerns.
• Serve as the primary liaison between NALAs and the Kectil team.
• Maintain safeguarding standards in all participant interactions.
• Participate in the mandatory Trainer of Trainers (ToT) induction programme.
• Engage in monthly programme reviews and provide feedback to enhance curriculum delivery.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of practical experience in the cybersecurity industry.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience delivering cybersecurity training or certification preparation programs.
• Proven ability to prepare learners for certification exams and practical cybersecurity roles.
