Overall Responsibility

The Credit Assistant will support the company’s credit operations, including loan assessment, credit investigation, loan processing, monitoring repayments, client verification and recovery of overdue loans.

Key Duties

• Loan assessment.
• Credit investigation.
• Loan processing and documentation.
• Risk management for clients.
• Monitoring loan repayments.
• Client visits and verification.
• Preparing loan reports.
• Maintaining loan records.
• Supporting recovery of overdue loans.
• Ensuring compliance with company credit policies.
• Assisting in development of lending procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum Diploma in a business-related course.
• The individual must have prior experience in field work and collections.
• A driver’s licence will be a plus.
