Key Requirements for Mining Jobs in Copperbelt Zambia
Crane Operators
Valid Crane Operator Competence Certificate
Valid Silicosis Certificate
Minimum of 1 year proven crane operating experience in mining, industrial, or construction environments
Knowledge of crane load charts, lifting techniques, and safety regulations
Ability to coordinate closely with rigging teams and follow hand or radio signals
Forklift Operator
Valid Forklift Operator Competence Certificate
Valid Silicosis Certificate
At least 1 year of forklift operating experience in mining, industrial, or warehouse settings
Understanding of load limits, equipment maintenance, and safe operating procedures
Mine Dispatchers
Degree in Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, Production Management, Chemical Engineering, or related field
Familiarity with mining production technology and equipment
Strong communication, coordination, multitasking, and analytical skills
Proficiency with office software and computer operations
Willingness to work shifts
Valid Silicosis Certificate
Automotive Electricians
Craft Certificate or Diploma in Auto Electrical Engineering or related field
Minimum 1 year experience in mining or heavy industrial environments
Experience troubleshooting electrical systems on heavy equipment such as CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, or Sandvik
Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and use diagnostic tools
Valid Silicosis Certificate
Automotive Mechanics
Trade Certificate or Diploma in Heavy Equipment Repair, Diesel Mechanics, or related field
At least 1 year of relevant experience
Proven skills in maintaining and repairing heavy mining or construction equipment
Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
Valid Silicosis Certificate
Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE
