Blackrock Security Services is currently recruiting for full-time control room jobs in Lusaka. We are seeking qualified and experienced professionals to join our team as Control Room Supervisors and Control Room Operators. These positions play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients through vigilant monitoring and effective coordination.

Available Positions: Control Room Supervisor & Control Room Operators

Control Room Supervisor

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Certificate in Information Technology, Telecommunication, or a related field
• Grade 12 School Certificate with at least 5 O Levels including English
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in security operations, with 1 to 2 years in a control room environment
• Proven supervisory experience and expertise in monitoring CCTV systems, alarms, access control, and patrol tracking systems
• Applicants must be 25 years or older
• Clean criminal record

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee monitoring of all CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and radio communications to ensure rapid response to emergencies
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of control room operators and security guards on duty
• Ensure proper deployment of personnel and strict adherence to client and management instructions
• Maintain detailed daily incident reports and CCTV footage logs
• Report significant incidents promptly to the Operations Manager

Control Room Operators

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 School Certificate
• Diploma or Certificate in Security or CCTV Operations is advantageous
• Applicants must be 25 years or older
• Preferably 1 to 2 years’ experience in a control room or security-related role
• Demonstrated high alertness and ability to work effectively under pressure
• Availability to work both day and night shifts
• Clean criminal record

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor CCTV, alarm panels, access control, and guard/patrol tracking systems continuously
• Verify alarm activations and escalate genuine incidents in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Maintain constant radio and telephone contact with clients, guards, site supervisors, and emergency services
• Report technical faults related to cameras, alarms, and communications promptly to the IT/technical team
• Handle client calls professionally and accurately record instructions
• Ensure strict confidentiality of all client data and footage requirements
