Key Responsibilities for Consultant Surgeon Roles

Qualifications and Experience Required for Consultant Surgeon Jobs in Lusaka

• MBChB degree from a recognised university.
• Postgraduate qualification such as MMed, FCPS, FRCS, or equivalent in the relevant surgical specialty.
• Full registration with the Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ) and possession of a valid practising licence.
• Minimum of five years’ experience as a Consultant Surgeon post-qualification.
• Experience in teaching and mentorship is advantageous.

• All qualifications must be certified by the Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA).
