Background

The Judiciary is an independent arm of Government established under part VIII of the Constitution (Amendment) Act No. 2 of 2016. Its mission is "To administer justice to all in an independent, impartial, competent and timely manner".

In order to improve service delivery, the Judiciary in Southern Province intends to fill the vacant positions indicated below.

CLERICAL OFFICER – JSS 04

1 Position

Station: Mazabuka Subordinate Court, Mazabuka District
Annual Basic Salary: K73,710.48

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, distribute, and dispatch correspondence promptly.
• Maintain an effective inventory of files.
• File documents appropriately and ensure files are maintained in the correct order.
• Conduct search lists to update and maintain records.
• Assist with general clerical and administrative duties.
• Maintain confidentiality of court records and information.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Skills

• Full Grade 12 Certificate with at least 5 O-Level credits or better, including English.
• Computer literacy.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Initiative and ability to work independently.
• Diplomacy and professionalism.
• Integrity and confidentiality.
