Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Establish and manage the company's finance function, including budgeting, financial forecasting, cash-flow management, and financial reporting.
• Oversee client-money management, Insurance Broking Account (IBA) controls, reconciliations, and premium remittances.
• Manage regulatory capital reporting, statutory financial returns, external audits, and tax compliance.
• Develop and implement financial systems and internal controls appropriate for a licensed reinsurance brokerage.
• Prepare financial reports for the board and support investor relations and strategic financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with the Pensions and Insurance Authority (PIA) financial and prudential requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Recognised accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CA Zambia, or equivalent.
• Must be a member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA).
• Minimum of seven (7) years' relevant financial management experience, preferably in insurance, reinsurance, or financial services.
• Experience in client-money/fiduciary controls and regulatory reporting is highly desirable.
• Full Grade 12 certificate.
