Chef (General/Culinary Team Member)

• Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes according to the resort's standardized recipes.
• Ensuring all food items are fresh, properly stored, and labeled with correct dates.
• Maintaining consistency in portion sizes, taste, and plating presentation.
• Monitoring food stock levels within the assigned station and communicating low-stock items to the supervisor.
• Adhering to all HACCP and food safety protocols, including temperature logging and sanitation practices.
• Minimizing food waste by utilizing ingredients efficiently and rotating stock using FIFO (First-In-First-Out).
• Collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service during busy meal periods.
• Keeping the workstation, utensils, and cooking equipment clean and sanitized at all times.
• Assisting with the setup and breakdown of buffet displays or special event stations.
• Staying updated on menu changes and daily specials to answer guest queries (if interacting at live stations).
