Proflight Zambia is recruiting a Captain Non-Type Rated – Jetstream 41.

LOCATION: Kenneth Kaunda International Airport
DEPARTMENT: Flight Operations
CONTRACT: 2 years, renewable
REPORTS TO: Chief Pilot
START DATE: 1 October 2026

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

The commander will:

• Maintain familiarity with relevant Zambian and international air legislation and agreed aviation practices and procedures
• Maintain familiarity with the relevant provisions of the Proflight Zambia Commuter Services Operations Manual
• Ensure Proflight Zambia operates safely and in compliance with Zambian and international regulations and the Air Operator’s Certificate
• Ensure their own and each crew member’s licence and medical, including any conditions or restrictions, are valid for the flight or series of flights

PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Zambian citizen or resident preferred
• Zambian ATPL with instrument rating
• 3,000 hours total flight time
• 500 hours PIC on turboprop aircraft above 5,700 kg
• Multi-Crew Cooperation qualification (MCC)
