Bricklayer

Job Summary

The Bricklayer is responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining walls, foundations, partitions, and other masonry structures in accordance with construction drawings, specifications, and safety standards. The role ensures quality workmanship while supporting the timely completion of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry materials according to approved plans.
• Construct walls, partitions, foundations, and other structures.
• Interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Prepare and mix mortar and other construction materials.
• Measure and align structures using appropriate tools.
• Repair damaged masonry and perform maintenance work.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Comply with occupational health and safety regulations.
• Report material requirements and work progress to the supervisor.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certificate or relevant qualification in Masonry or Bricklaying.
• Minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience.
• Ability to read construction drawings.
• Good physical fitness and attention to detail.
