3. BOYS' BOARDING PATRON

Rephidim Institute is seeking a mature, responsible and highly organised Boarding Patron to take primary responsibility for the discipline, welfare and daily supervision of boys in the boarding section.

This is a high-responsibility position requiring strong leadership, presence and the ability to manage a large boarding population effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining high standards of discipline, hygiene, order and personal responsibility.
• Supervising morning and evening routines and bedtime routines.
• Conducting regular dormitory checks and reporting maintenance, health, safety or disciplinary concerns.

The ideal candidate should:

• Be mature, disciplined, dependable and firm but approachable.
• Have at least 2 (two) years experience in boarding-school supervision, teaching or youth leadership.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and conflict-management skills.
• Be capable of managing a large group of adolescent boys.
• Have strong organisational and reporting skills.
• Be physically and mentally prepared for the demands of boarding supervision.
• Demonstrate integrity, confidentiality and sound judgement.
• Be committed to the Christian values and ethos of Rephidim Institute.
