Engineering

1.Metal Fabricator/ Welder

To fabricate, assemble, and repair metol structures ono components according to technical drawings and specifications, using appropriacy tools and welding techniques. The role ensures high-quality producer of metol ports used in construction, manufacturing, or industrial machinery, while adhering to safety standards and maintaining efficiency in the workshop or on-site environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform MIG, TIG, and arc welding on MS and SS materials.
  2. Measure, cut, and fit metal components using gas cutting, grinders, and other fabrication tools.
  3. Assemble and fabricate structures, tanks, pipelines, and equipment based on engineering drawings.
  4. Ensure proper alignment, finishing, and welding quality during fabrication.
  5. Inspect and test welds for strength, appearance, and adherence to standards.
  6. Carry out repair, modification, and maintenance welding work.
  7. Maintain welding machines, tools, and equipment in good working condition.
  8. Follow all safety guidelines, PPE requirements, and welding codes during operations.
  9. Work in coordination with supervisors, engineers, and production teams to meet deadlines
  10. Follow safety protocols: Adhere to electrical safety standards and food industry hygiene regulations
  11. Ensure code compliance: Make sure all work meets local and international electrical codes.
  12. Document work: Keep accurate records of repairs, inspections, and upgrades.
  13. Coordinate with other departments: Work with production, quality, and engineering teams to support smooth operations.
  14. Respond to emergencies: Be available for urgent repairs during breakdowns or power failures.

Qualifications & Key Requirements

  1. Technical / Vocational Training
  2. Certificate in Metal Fabrication and welding
  3. High School Education
  4. 5 years work experience

2.Mechanical Fitter

Job Purpose

The Mechanical Fitter will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and overhauling mechanical equipment to ensure uninterrupted production operations. The role will focus on minimizing equipment downtime through preventive and corrective maintenance while ensuring compliance with safety, GMP, and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance on production equipment.
  2. Install, dismantle, repair, and reassemble mechanical components and machinery.
  3. Troubleshoot mechanical faults and restore equipment to operational condition promptly.
  4. Carry out routine inspections of conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, motors, pumps, compressors, elevators, and other production equipment.
  5. Replace worn or defective mechanical parts and ensure proper alignment and fitting.
  6. Support machine installation, commissioning, and relocation projects.
  7. Coordinate with the Production Department to minimize equipment downtime.
  8. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
  9. Complete maintenance work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records.
  10. Identify recurring equipment failures and recommend permanent corrective actions.
  11. Maintain good housekeeping and implement 5S practices within the workshop and production areas.
  12. Assist in spare parts identification, inventory control, and requisition.
  13. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve machine reliability and plant efficiency.
  14. Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and all company safety policies during maintenance activities.

Qualifications & Key Requirements

  • Craft Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Fitting & Machining, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience as a Mechanical Fitter in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in maintaining production machinery such as conveyors, bucket elevators, packaging machines, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, and pneumatic systems.
  • Good knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
  • Knowledge of welding and fabrication will be an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and food safety requirements in food manufacturing.
  • Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Basic computer skills for maintenance reporting and documentation.
  • Willingness to work shifts and respond to emergency breakdowns when required

3.Boiler Operator

Job Purpose

The Boiler Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and continuous operation, monitoring, and maintenance of boiler systems and associated equipment to ensure an uninterrupted supply of steam, hot water, or heat required for production and operational activities. The role ensures compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory regulations while maintaining optimal boiler performance, minimizing downtime, and supporting overall plant productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Operate and monitor boiler for continuous steam supply
  2. Check pressure, temperature, water level, and fuel system regularly
  3. Maintain boiler log sheets and operating records
  4. Ensure proper water treatment and chemical dosing
  5. Perform routine inspection of boiler and auxiliaries
  6. Coordinate with maintenance team for breakdowns and PM
  7. Ensure safe operation as per SOP and safety guidelines
  8. Monitor steam distribution and avoid leakages
  9. Handle boiler start-up and shutdown procedures
  10. Maintain housekeeping in boiler area
  11. Report abnormalities immediately to supervisor
  12. Support energy saving and fuel consumption monitoring

Qualifications and Key Requirements

  • Boiler Operator competency certificate / license (as per local regulations)
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in industrial boiler operation
  • Knowledge of steam system, water treatment, and safety practices
  • Familiarity with fuel systems (diesel / gas / coal )
