Automotive electrical system maintenance and repair of equipment under the Transport Workshop associated machines in compliance with the necessary safety and environmental standards
Equipment inspection and servicing for proactive maintenance and defect correction
Diagnosis and repair of the electrical systems and electro-mechanical interface faults
Overhaul and repair of components like starter motors, charging alternators, electrical and electronic panels
PLC downloads using OEM software and trending of events and parameters for proactive repairs
Defining repair scope and parts requirement forecasting
Completion of job cards and other documentation
Compliance to the safety and environmental standards associated with maintenance and repairs of machinery
Requirements
Full Grade 12 School Certificate
Craft or Technician Certificate in Auto / Power Electrical
Minimum 3 years work experience on equipment
