About the Area Sales Manager Role in Northern Luapula

As the Area Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s Civil Servant Product portfolio by leading multiple branches across Northern and Luapula Provinces. Your leadership will ensure consistent operational standards, improved portfolio quality, and the achievement of regional sales targets through effective team management and strategic execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive regional disbursement and portfolio growth in line with company targets.
• Implement national sales strategies through actionable branch plans.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop Branch Coordinators to enhance team performance.
• Collaborate with Credit, Finance, HR, and Collections departments to resolve escalations promptly.
• Build leadership pipelines and support succession planning initiatives.
• Identify and capitalize on new growth opportunities within Northern and Luapula Provinces.
• Monitor branch KPIs including productivity, conversion rates, and portfolio quality.
• Maintain high operational standards and ensure service excellence across branches.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and lending procedures at all times.
• Foster a culture of high performance aligned with Spectrum Credit Limited’s values.

Qualifications and Experience

• Full Grade 12 Certificate is mandatory.
• Diploma or higher qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields.
• At least 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably within the microfinance sector.
• Demonstrated leadership or senior management experience overseeing multi-branch or regional operations.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Northern, Luapula, and Muchinga Provinces.
