This initiative provides mentorship and exposure to advanced engineering practices within multiple disciplines, including Mechanical, Electrical, Fabrication, Automation & Instrumentation, and Motor Mechanics & Auto Electrical. Apprentices will be based in Lusaka and Kitwe.

Overview of Apprentice Engineering Jobs in Lusaka Kitwe

Apprentices will play a key role supporting maintenance, repair, and installation activities under the guidance of experienced technicians. Responsibilities include assisting with fabrication tasks, calibrating instrumentation, supporting automation systems, and conducting motor diagnostics. Participants will also contribute to projects involving mechanical and electrical systems, gaining comprehensive exposure to industrial engineering operations.

Candidate Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate with a minimum of five ‘O’ Levels, including Mathematics, English, and Science
  • Diploma or skills certificate preferred (graduates from 2022 to 2026 encouraged to apply)
  • Strong passion for technical trades; no prior work experience required
  • Physically fit and able to work shifts within an industrial environment
