Key Responsibilities for Application Support Analyst Jobs in Lusaka

• Service Application Availability (60%)

  • Maintain and monitor application availability, reliability, and performance to meet business objectives.
  • Provide comprehensive reporting on application availability and facilitate necessary changes to support business needs.
  • Support business users holistically and coordinate corrective actions to minimize incident frequency and duration.
  • Coordinate application changes and stay informed on technology advancements and best practices.
• Test Management (15%)

  • Drive personal performance development through training, accreditation, and skills enhancement.
  • Prepare for performance reviews and proactively manage own development plan in coordination with leadership.

Qualifications and Compliance

Candidates must hold a Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC) in Physical, Mathematical, Computer, or Life Sciences. The role requires strict adherence to regulatory requirements, the Absa Operational Risk Framework, and internal policies to manage risks effectively.
