Agriculture Field Officer

𝗔𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝘄𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝘀𝗼 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺!

We are looking for a passionate and experienced 𝗙𝗜𝗘𝗟𝗗 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗥 to join Hematon Agro Services and work directly with farmers, with a particular focus on 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

𝗘𝗠𝗣𝗟𝗢𝗬𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡: 𝗡𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗛𝗪𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗡 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗘, 𝗭𝗔𝗠𝗕𝗜𝗔

The successful candidate will be based in Northwestern Province – Kalumbila and will be required to travel extensively to farmer communities within the assigned areas.

𝗪𝗘 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗢𝗥:

• 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲/𝗗𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗺𝗮 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, Agronomy or related field
• 𝟮+ 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀’ experience working with large numbers of smallholder farmers
• Practical experience growing chili
• AIZ Certificate
• Valid Motorbike Licence
• Fluent in 𝗕𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗮, 𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮 and 𝗞𝗮𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲
• Good computer & reporting skills
• Strong farmer mobilisation and communication skills
• Willingness to travel and work in rural areas
