Role Overview for Accounts Officer Jobs in Lusaka
As an Accounts Officer at PCLP, you will play a critical role in maintaining the firm’s financial integrity. You will be entrusted with managing day-to-day accounting functions that support smooth operations and informed decision-making by management.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate income and expense registers, receipts, and comprehensive books of accounts.
- Oversee invoicing processes, follow up on payments, and perform bank reconciliations.
- Prepare detailed monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and cash position reports.
- Provide management with timely advice on fund availability for ongoing and upcoming projects.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Possession of a recognized accounting qualification such as ZICA Technician/Licentiate, ATEC, or an equivalent certification.
- Minimum of two years’ experience working in a law firm or professional services environment, demonstrating familiarity with relevant financial procedures.
